Our Mission
Our mission is to partner with Fargo Public Schools, their alumni, and the greater community to enhance and enrich learning experiences to maximize student potential.
Our History
The groundwork and concept of the Fargo Public Schools Development Foundation was originally approved in 1993 through action of the Board of Education. The Foundation received its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in December of 2000. The Fargo Public Schools Development Foundation is governed by its own Board of Directors who are representatives of the community. The Fargo Public School District assists with operational funding and in-kind support. The Foundation operates with two full-time staff, which allows 90 cents out of every donated dollar to go to direct programs benefiting Fargo Public School students.
In 2000, the Fargo Public Schools Development Foundation began developing an Alumni Association. In 2012 it blossomed into the Fargo Public School Alumni Network which supports reconnecting Fargo Public Schools Alumni.
