The Fargo Public Schools Development Foundation is responsible for managing numerous endowed and annual funds, which are sustained through donations and investment income generated from endowments established by individuals who desire to honor a cherished one or acknowledge those who've positively impacted their lives.

The Rob Arneson Memorial Scholarship was established by his family to celebrate his life and his love for education. Rob had a caring heart, a loving smile and a contagious laugh. He had a zest for life that showed through his kindness and generosity to everyone he encountered. In his 23+ years of teaching at Fargo Public Schools, Rob impacted countless lives. He always put kids first. Rob was a leader in his profession and a mentor to many students.
Your donation to this endowed scholarship will be awarded to a well-rounded senior who is serious about pursuing a career in elementary education and who has demonstrated academic success and leadership ability.

Your donation will support the endowed Jared Nilles Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to a graduating South High School senior who was chosen to be in the Donkey Hotey’s Improvisational Club and who has performed in front of a live audience and is actively involved in weekly workshops.
Jared Nilles attended Fargo South High School and graduated in 2003. Jared attended Minneapolis Community and Technical College where he studied screenwriting and film production. After graduating from college Jared shot several short films in Fargo and Minneapolis. He then began focusing on his performance career in Chicago. Jared became a sanctioned improv performer at I.O, formerly Improv Olympic. He thoroughly enjoyed performing and his passion was improvisation.

The Nate Olsby Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a Fargo South High School senior athlete and was established by friends and family.
Nate attended Carl Ben Eielson Elementary, Agassiz Middle School, Discovery Junior High and graduated from Fargo South High School in 2002. Nate had a deep love and passion for all sports and excelled at both hockey and golf and was part of the Fargo South State Championship Golf Team.

The Fargo South Class of 1968, the first graduating class, is developing an endowed fund to support Fargo South High school students, teachers, and staff in their endeavors to provide one of the best educations in the upper Midwest. These funds will be used to provide teachers an opportunity to pilot a new innovative idea the classroom, help students with critical needs, or provide needed items for the greater good of Fargo South High School.

Your donation to the DECA Scholarship fund will provide support for DECA student scholarships. Students selected for this scholarship have a strong interest in marketing, finance, and hospitality and management.

Fargo Area Dollars for Scholars is our community’s way of showing our children they are important to us. Through this local program, graduating seniors receive a $1,000 scholarship to help them reach their goals and move forward with their education.
